YHES House works within the following framework and is committed to:
EQUITABLE ACCESS TO SERVICES
Recognising the need and value of being flexible where possible in our service delivery and will not discriminate against any person because of creed, gender, culture, sexual orientation or religion. Immediacy of response to clients needs, where possible, YHES House will endeavour to contact new clients or return calls with in 72 hours of call or contact.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Upholding a clients right to have all matters dealt with the program to be confidential and sharing of information will be done only after the consent of the client involved.
HIGH QUALITY, SUSTAINABLE, SAFE AND EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY
Delivering services and programs that are client focused, manageable with the programs resources for as long as there is a need, and within a safe environment for clients (and their children).
CLIENT FOCUSED
Providing appropriate services to meet the need of our clients, ensuring that clients are involved in decision-making.
HOLISTIC APPROACH
Recognising the complex needs of young people, and the value of working in all areas of health, i.e. physical, social, economical, sexual, and physiological.
UTILISING ALL AVAILABLE RESOURCES
Using all resources available to assist young people achieve the best possible outcomes i.e. working collaboratively with other services, referral pathways, volunteers, equipment and materials.
BEING PROACTIVE
Where possible, being proactive in education, case plans and health issues to empower clients in making informed decisions on their life choices To ongoing review and evaluation involving clients at every appropriate stage.
